Gates Mfg. was founded by two lifelong skateboarders from Southern California, driven by a shared passion to bridge the great outdoors and the world of fashion. With backgrounds in photography and creative direction, our founders set out to create a brand that seamlessly blends the best of both worlds.

 

Inspired by the bold, rebellious spirit of vintage culture and the thrill of adventure, our brand pulls influences from skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, motorcycles, classic cars, photography and the arts. We take cues from the past while designing for the future, focusing on timeless style.
